The Colony Hotel Engagement Session
Melissa and Matt share a moment together on the rocky coast of Maine by the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport, Maine. We started their photo session in the soon to be renovated Colony Hotel in the bridal room. The light was perfect to mix a bit of fashion photography into the session. As the rest of the hotel was under heavy construction we moved on the the lovely grounds at the Hotel. The view was gorgeous and we soon found ourselves down by the beach for a sunset shot (although the clouds rolled in). In this photo I crept behind some of the foliage to frame the couple and add some foreground elements for depth. The image was light with a CTO gelled strobe on a light stand to camera right. The exposure is ambient minus about one stop the the flash was used to expose the couple perfectly.Location: The Colony Hotel, Kennebunkport, Maine.
