Weddings are joyous occasions and often that joy translates into an emotional moment. Here the brides mothers looks at her her daughter, can't believe she is all grown up and getting married. It's a look for pure joy, pride and love that has been expressed with a single tear. As a Maine wedding photographer, these are the moments that I relish. Every image is important but these little moments really show the connection between mother and daughter.
This wedding was at Acadia National Park. The bride and groom had their getting ready part of the day at the West Street Hotel in Bar Harbor. This image was taken on the balcony of the West Street Hotel over looking the harbor.
